  1. BeforeTwo minutes, two palates. Each of you takes a quick palate quiz when you book. No wine words needed. We pick every pour from it.
  2. 7:00Stop one: the toast. A tasting room after hours, doors closed, candlelight. One sparkling pour for every couple, and Mike opens the night.
  3. 7:20Your pours, not the room's. A glass for each of you, picked from your quiz. Different glasses: trade sips, compare notes. A small bite alongside.
  4. 7:45Stop two: the blind round. A short walk through Solvang. One pour each, labels hidden. Guess which one your partner would have picked.
  5. 8:20Stop three: the last course. One more pairing, and one surprise. Never advertised. Never on this page.
  6. 8:50The closing candle moment. Built for anniversaries, and the photo.
  7. 9:00The takeaway. A bottle chosen for the two of you, and a printed card of your pours tonight.

Do we need to know anything about wine?

No. This isn't a class, it's a night out. The quiz asks about coffee and chocolate, not wine. If you want the basics first, there's Wine 101.

How do you pick our wine?

From your palate quizzes. Each of you gets your own pour at every stop, matched to what you told us you like.

What's the surprise?

Then it wouldn't be a surprise.

Where exactly is it?

Three stops within walking distance in Solvang. Ticket holders get the route, on the Living Valley Map, before the night.

Is it dinner?

No, small bites with each pour, not a full meal. Plenty of couples eat after; the map above shows what's still open when the night ends.
